Ingredients

  • 100 gms - uncooked pasta.
  • 1 tbsp - oil.
  • 2 to 3 tbsp - basic dressing.
  • 1 - medium sized onion.
  • 12 - black olives| To garnish:
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Parsley or other fresh herbs.

How to Make Pasta Salad

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of fast boiling salted water with a tbsp of oil. It will take about 10 mins, more or less, but do not over cook.
  • As soon as it just done, pour into a colander and rinse with cold water to stop further cooking.
  • Drain and mix with the salad dressing straight away.
  • Peel and finely chop the onion, stone the olives.
  • Stir all these into the pasta and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top.
  • You could also use many other ingredients such as chopped peppers or tinned fish to spice up your salad.
