Ingredients

  • 1 kg - mutton.
  • 2 - potatoes, cut into medium pieces.
  • 4 tbsp - mustard oil.
  • 1 tbsp - Salt.
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder.
  • 4 - bay leaves.
  • 2 tsp -cumin.
  • 2 tsp -coriander.
  • 1 inch piece - ginger.
  • 5 - green chillies.
  • 1 piece - cinnamon.
  • 2 - cardamom.
  • 2 - cloves|

How to Make Pathar Manshor Lomba jhol

  • Clean and wash the mutton, pat it dry, add 1 tsp salt and turmeric and keep aside.
  • Now heat the kadai, pour 4 tbsp of oil, add potatoes, 1 tsp salt and turmeric powder in it and fry till golden yellow and keep aside.
  • Put the mutton in the kadai, add all masalas and fry it till the oil leaves the masalas.
  • Add 2 cups of water, transfer the contents to a pressure cooker and cook for 2 -3 whistles.
  • Open it add the potatoes and keep it for another whistle.
  • Remove from gas and when the steam subsides serve.
