Ingredients

  • Store bought Roasted Peanuts or roasts your own Peanuts - 2 cups.
  • 1 tsp of Turmeric.
  • 1/2 tsp of Asafetida.
  • 1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  • 1/2 tsp of Black Pepper Powder.
  • 1 tbsp of Oil.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Peanut masala

  • Peanuts without skin should be roasted and split into halves. Heat oil on a pan and add asafoetida and turmeric. Add the roasted peanuts and remove the pan from heat.
  • Add chilli powder and pepper powder and mix.
  • Keeps good in an air tight container. Makes good high calorie afternoon snack.
