Ingredients

  • Store bought Roasted Peanuts or roasts your own Peanuts - 2 cups.
  • 1 tsp of Turmeric.
  • 1/2 tsp of Asafetida.
  • 1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  • 1/2 tsp of Black Pepper Powder.
  • 1 tbsp of Oil.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Peanut masala:

    1. Peanuts without skin should be roasted and split into halves. Heat oil on a pan and add asafoetida and turmeric. Add the roasted peanuts and remove the pan from heat.
    2. Add chilli powder and pepper powder and mix.
    3. Keeps good in an air tight container. Makes good high calorie afternoon snack.
