Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Pears
  • 1/4 kg - Sugar
  • 1.5 cup - grated Coconut
  • 100 g - Coconut powder
  • 2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Red Cherries - a few
  • How to Make Pears coconut ladoo:

    1. Peel skin and submerge the pears in salted water for 10 mins.
    2. Drain, grate and squeeze out the water.
    3. Prepare sugar in 1 cup syrup.
    4. Add the grated coconut to the boiling sugar syrup and boil for 20 mins.
    5. Now add the grated pear and simmer it for 15-20 mins. Keep stirring it till it leaves the sides of the pan.
    6. Add the cardamom powder mix well and remove it from the stove.
    7. Make laddoos and roll into the coconut powder.
    8. Decorate the laddoos with a cherry on top.
