Ingredients

  • Peas - 1 lb packet.
  • For Seasoning:
  • 10-12 - cashews.
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin.
  • Curry leaves.
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric.
  • 2 tsp - cooking oil.
  • Grind to a fine paste:
  • 1/2 cup - sesame.
  • 4-5 - red chillies.
  • 1 tsp - cumin.
  • 1 tsp - Rice flour.
  • 1/2 cup - water.
  • How to Make Peas and Sesame Curry:

    1. In a pan, heat 2 tsps oil. Add the seasonings.
    2. When the seeds pop, add the peas and fry for a few minutes.
    3. Now, add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
    4. Once the peas are tender, add the ground paste. Add salt to taste.
    5. Bring to a boil again and top with 1 tsp ghee.
