Ingredients

  • 1 small - pineapple.
  • 2 tbsp - sugar.
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 3 tsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp - flour.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mix together: (Masala mixture).
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds.
  • 2 tsp - aniseed.
  • 2 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • 1/2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds.
  • 2 tsp - Onion seeds|
  • How to Make Pineapple Chutney:

    1. Clean and cut the pineapple into small pieces. Heat oil and add half the quantity of the masala mixture.
    2. Then add pineapple pieces, turmeric, chilli powder, salt, sugar and 2 cups of water. Cook till the pineapple is done.
    3. Add more water if required while cooking the pineapple.
    4. Mix the maida with some water to a paste and add this to the chutney.
    5. Dry roast the rest of the masala mixture on a dry tawa one by one and powder them coarsely. Add to the chutney.
