Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Carrot
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 200 g - sweet khova (or plain khova and Sugar 100 gm each)
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Slivers of Almond - to garnish
  • How to Make Pink Carrot Halwa:

    1. Grate carrots and cook covered on high for 5 mins. (Stir once after 3 mins)
    2. Add ghee, sugar and khova.
    3. Mix well and cook uncovered for 8-10 mins, stirring in between.
    4. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp cardamom powder on top.
    5. Serve warm, garnished with slivers of almonds.
