Ingredients

  • 1.5 tin condensed Milk
  • 150 gms - Paneer
  • 150 gms - khoya
  • 50 gms - Maida
  • 75 gms - pistachios, finely powdered

How to Make Pista Burfee

  • Mash paneer and khoya till smooth.
  • Blend in condensed milk and maida (mixer may be used).
  • Add powdered pistachios. Transfer to a thick bottomed vessel.
  • Cook on a slow fire till the mixture becomes thick and forms a ball.
  • Pour onto a lightly greased tray and spread evenly to about 1.5 inch thickness.
  • Cool for 4 to 5 hours and cut into 2 inch square pieces.
