  • 3 cups- 2% powder milk
  • 250 ml- whipping cream
  • 1 cup- ground Pista (ground to a rough powder form)
  • 3/4 cup- sugar
  • Edible silver foil (optional)

How to Make Pista Burfi

  • Mix powdered milk with whipping cream in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Put the bowl in the microwave for three minutes on high.
  • Take the bowl out and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Mix in ground pistachio and sugar.
  • Place the bowl again in the microwave for three minutes on high.
  • Then pour contents in a plate or pan.
  • Spread the contents to make a 1 inch thick slab.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes.
  • If desired, cover with silver foil. Cut with a sharp knife into squares.
