10-12 - Pistachios
50-75 gms - Falooda sev
2 cups - Milk
1/4- 1/2 tsp - Basil seeds/Sabja/Tukmaria
2-3 tbsp - Sugar, or according to taste
Cardamom powder - A pinch
10-12 - Cashews and raisins
Green food colour
2 cups + 2 tbsps - Water
How to Make Pista Falooda
Soak sabja seeds in 2 tbsp of water for around 1 hour.
Dry grind pistas.
Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil and add falooda sev and cook till they are tender and soft.
Now strain and keep aside.
Boil milk and add sugar, ground pista , green food colouring, basil/sabja seeds and cardamom powder.
Let it simmer with constant stirring.
Now add the cooked falooda sev to the milk and keep simmering for around 5-10 minutes till all flavours get incorporated.
Let it cool down to room temperature, then chill in refrigerator.
Serve in long glasses topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and dry fruits like cashews and raisins.
