Ingredients

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2.5 cups - water
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilly
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • How to Make Pittore:

    1. Mix flour with water in a pan. Avoid lumps.
    2. Add red chilly + turmeric + salt and mix.
    3. Heat on medium flame by stirring well continuously.
    4. Cook till it is semi-solid.
    5. Grease the plate and apply hot paste evenly on it.
    6. On cooling, cut into long strips of 4 inch width and roll.
    7. Cut the rolls into 1-inch wide pieces.
    8. Heat oil in a pan & splutter mustard seeds.
    9. Add the rolls and mix gently.
    10. Serve with chapattis.
