How to Make Plain Mango Curry

  • Heat oil, put mustard seeds and methi seeds.
  • Add the mango pieces and sufficient water, to cook the mango well.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and cook till the mango is done.
  • Grind the coconut with the red chillies and jeera well.
  • Add this to the mango.
  • Add curd, mix it well and let the whole thing boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add curry leaves in the end.
  • Morukoottan is ready.
