Ingredients

  • 1 - raw mango, grated
  • 2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Plain Mango Jam

  • Take a thick bottom pan, grease it with oil and heat the pan. Add the grated raw mango and stir for a minute.
  • Add sugar to the mango and stir it well until the mango dissolves the sugar.
  • Add water to the mixture and stir well.
  • Add 1 tsp of lemon juice, a pinch salt and a pinch of chilli powder to the mixture and keep stirring, so that the mixture does not stick to the bottom.
  • Cook till it solidifies.
  • Enjoy this jam with bread or chapatti.
