  • 2 - Potatoes
  • 1 bunch - dry Methi leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves
  • 6 - Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper
  • Butter for frying
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • How to Make Plain Methi paratha:

    1. Boil potatoes, peel and mash them.
    2. In a mixie, grind green chillies and cumin seeds together.
    3. Chop coriander leaves.
    4. Now mix mashed potatoes, chilli paste, chopped coriander, methi leaves, salt, black pepper powder with wheat flour and make a dough.
    5. Shape into small balls and roll them out into parathas.
    6. On a non-stick tawa fry this paratha using butter.
    7. Serve hot with pickle or chilled yogurt.
