Ingredients

  • 1 lb - chicken breast cut into small pieces
  • 2 - medium sized onions
  • 2 cloves - garlic
  • 1 - small piece of ginger
  • 1 -stick of cinnamon
  • 6 - cloves
  • 1 pod - cardamom (optional)
  • 2 - bay leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp - paprika
  • 1/2 cup - yogurt
  • 2 tbsp - brown sugar
  • 1 - bell pepper chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp - black pepper
  • 1 tbsp - ketchup
  • 1 tsp - salt

How to Make Plain Microwave Chicken Curry

  • Chop onion, garlic and ginger root into small pieces.
  • Mix all ingredients including the chicken in a large microwavable bowl and refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Microwave on high for 10 mins. Remove container from the microwave and stir well and then put it in again for another 20 mins till done.
  • Serve hot.
