  • 1/2 kg - Button Mushroom
  • 2 - Onions, chopped finely
  • 1-2 sprigs- Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Ginger and Garlic paste
  • 2 tsps - Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsps - Oil, salt to taste.
  • How to Make Plain Mushroom Pepper Fry:

    1. Wash and cut the mushrooms into thin rounds and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add the curry leaves and onions and saute until pink.
    3. Now add the black pepper powder, salt, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
    4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and blend it well with the mixture.
    5. Cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked.
    6. Serve with rice or chapattis.
