Ingredients

  • Rava/Semolina - 1 cup.
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup.
  • Water - 2 cups.
  • Pineapple - 1 cup, cut into small pieces.
  • Pineapple essence - 1 tsp.
  • ghee - 5 tsp.
  • Cashewnuts - 1 tsp, powdered.
  • Raisins - 1 tsp.
  • Orange/Yellow colour powder - A small pinch.

How to Make Plain Pineapple Sheera

  • Boil the pineapples till it becomes soft and keep it aside.
  • Heat the pan in low flame and add ghee to it.
  • When it becomes slightly hot add cashewnuts and rava and fry till rava starts becoming brown.
  • When it turns brown add water, boiled pineapples, pineapple essence, colour powder and stir it till it thickens a bit.
  • Add pineapple cardamom powder and raisins.
  • Serve it hot.
