  • 1 cup-red kidney beans
  • 1- big onion
  • 1- tomato{big}
  • 4-5 cloves-garlic
  • ginger-
  • 1 tsp-somph
  • 1-2-cloves
  • 1 inch-cinnamon
  • 1 tsp- red chilly powder

How to Make Plain Rajma

  • First soak red kidney beans over night, and cook that with little salt.
  • Cut tomato and onion.
  • Take 1/2 onion along with other ingredients fry them in a pan with 1 tsp of oil for 3 min, add red chilly powder.
  • Allow them to cool and grind them to a paste.
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil, fry cumin then add the ground paste for some time.
  • Now add cooked red kidney beans and salt.
  • Cook them for 10 or 15 min in sim so the raw smell of the onion will disappear.
