How to Make Plain Red Chicken

  • Clean and wash chicken pieces and put in a pan.
  • Slit green chillies length-wise and add to chicken, also add ginger-garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, pepper, salt and turmeric.
  • Put on a medium heat and cook until all the water evaporates and chicken becomes tender and soft.
  • Add red chilli powder, soya sauce, garlic, cashew paste to the chicken. Saute well.
  • Finally add tomato sauce and red colour, mix well.
  • In another small pan heat the oil and pour the oil on chicken pieces, put the pan on sim until chicken pieces absorbs the oil. Add curry leaves and serve.
