Ingredients

  • Rice noodles - 1 packet
  • Lemons - 2 (big)
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • For seasoning:
  • Peanuts - 1 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad Dal - 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Oil - 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Plain Rice Noodles:

    1. Boil water in a saucepan.
    2. Add salt to the water followed by noodles. Cook for 2 mins.
    3. Drain the noodles and set aside.
    4. Heat oil in pan. Add the ingredients for seasoning. Saute.
    5. Once the mustard pops, add green chillies and curry leaves. Saute.
    6. Add the seasoning to the cooked noodles. Stir to mix well.
    7. Add lime juice to the noodles.
    8. Serve hot.
