Ingredients

  • 6 cups - water
  • 3 cups - uncooked white Rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsps - sesame oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 Celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 pound - precooked shrimp
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 cup - pea pods, cut in half
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • soy sauce to taste
  • How to Make Plain Shrimp Fried rice:

    1. Boil rice in slightly salted water for 20 minutes.
    2. Scramble the eggs in a small amount of sesame oil.
    3. Remove from heat once scrambled.
    4. Fry celery till brown in sesame oil.
    5. Add shrimp and carrots, onion, celery, red pepper, pea pods, and green pepper.
    6. Add white rice and stir well.
    7. Add soy sauce and eggs, stir thoroughly.
