Ingredients

  • 1 cup - potatoes
  • 1 tbsp - cream
  • 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • For the paste:
  • 4 - Kashmiri chillies
  • 2 - cloves garlic
  • 1/2 - piece ginger
  • 2 tsp - dhania-jeera powder

How to Make Plain Tandoori Aloo

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly, pierce them with a fork and place them all in microwave turntable.
  • Place little water in a glass in the centre of the vessel to prevent the potatoes from getting wrinkled.
  • Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
  • Heat oil in a glass bowl, add prepared paste and salt. Mix well.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Add potatoes, cream and kasuri methi. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
