Ingredients

  • 4 - plantains (raw banana).
  • 2 - Onions (big size).
  • 2 tsp - Ginger and Garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder.
  • 2 - 4 - green chillies.
  • 2 tsp - chopped coriander leaves.
  • 2 tbsp- Corn flour.
  • 4 tbsp- semolina.
  • salt.
  • oil for fry.

How to Make Plantain Cutlet (Raw Banana Cutlet)

  • Boil plantain, peel the skin, mash it and keep aside.
  • Heat oil, add chopped onion and stir.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry it for 5-10 mins.
  • Add mashed plantain into it. Fry for 5 mins.
  • Remove from fire, add grated chillies, grated mint leaves, garam masala powder, corn flour.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into flattened disks.
  • Coat with semolina. Shallow fry it till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with lachha onion and green chutney.
