Ingredients

  • 2 cups - rice.
  • 1 cup - poha (thick).
  • 1 cup - curd.
  • oil for cooking.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda.

How to Make Poha Dosa with curd

  • Wash and soak rice for at least 4 hours.
  • Wash the poha, and add it to the rice and grind to a smooth paste using curd.
  • Cover and set aside to ferment overnight.
  • Next day, add salt, soda and very little water to make batter little thin.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa on a medium flame till hot and grease it with oil.
  • Spread a ladleful of the batter thickly on the pan and cover it to make thick dosas.
  • Roast on one side till golden brown, using a little oil. Do the same with other side also.
  • Serve hot with sweet peanut or mint chutney.
