Ingredients

  • 6 - medium green chillies.
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut milk.
  • 3 tbsp - cooking oil.
  • 3 flakes - garlic.
  • 1 inch - ginger.
  • 2 - small onions.
  • 1 - pomfret.
  • 1 tsp - salt.
  • 1 - medium tomato.

How to Make Pomfret in Masala

  • Cut the fish into small pieces.
  • Marinate the fish with salt and keep aside for 20 mins.
  • Heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and stir for a minute.
  • Add tomatoes and simmer for 2 mins.
  • Add the ground paste and simmer for a minute.
  • Add little water and let it boil for 2 mins.
  • Add coconut milk and after it starts boiling, add the marinated fish pieces and cook till done.
  • Serve hot with rice.
