Ingredients

  • 1 recipe paratha dough from whole Wheat flour .
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and peeled.
  • 4-5 green chillies, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger, grated.
  • 4-5 Garlic flakes, crushed.
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped fine.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • salt to taste.
  • 1 tbsp - oil.
  • oil to shallow fry.
  • How to Make Potato (Aloo) Parathas:

    1. Mash the potatoes.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a heavy pan.
    3. Add ginger, chilli, garlic, stir.
    4. Add coriander, potatoes and other ingredients.
    5. Mix well.
    6. Roll each paratha as per instructions in introduction.
    7. Deep fry each paratha as per instructions in introduction.
    8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup, chutneys or pickle or just plain fresh curd.
