Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - deshelled, deveined prawns.
  • 1 cup - grated coconut.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp - Hing (rock), not powder Hing.
  • 1 tsp - Coconut oil.
  • Salt.
  • 1 tbsp - Tamarind paste.

How to Make Prawn Curry (Konkani Style)

  • Grind all the ingredients, except coconut oil to fine paste.
  • Add water and boil.
  • Add prawns, salt and coconut oil.
  • Simmers.
  • Cook for another 10 mins.
  • Serve with hot rice.
