Ingredients

  • Prawns - 1/2 kg.
  • Egg - 1.
  • Onion - 1.
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece.
  • Curd - 100 g.
  • Red Chilli powder as per taste.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Garam masala powder (fresh) - 1 tsp.
  • Bread crumb - 1 cup.
  • oil for frying.

How to Make Prawn Cutlet

  • Clean the prawns and slit them in length.
  • Prepare a paste of onion and ginger.
  • Add garam masala, curd, salt, haldi and chilli powder.
  • Apply the paste on the prawns and keep aside for about half an hour.
  • Beat the egg and add salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the prawns in the egg, apply some bread crumb and fry.
  • Serve the prawn cutlets with sauce or salad.
