  • 300 grams - cleaned and deveined prawns.
  • 3 potatoes, boiled and mashed.
  • 2 tsp - chopped mint.
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 egg, beaten.
  • 3 tbsp - oil.
  • 3 tbsp - bread crumbs.
  • How to Make Prawn Cutlets with potatoes:

    1. Wash the prawns well and cook in a little water with some salt and a pinch of pepper and turmeric till tender.
    2. Remove and keep aside to cool.
    3. When cold, mix in the mashed potatoes, mint, pepper and salt.
    4. Form into oval shapes and flatten with a knife.
    5. Heat oil in a flat pan.
    6. Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs, then shallow fry on both sides till brown.
    7. Drain and serve with tomato sauce or ketchup.
