Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Spinach
  • 3 - Small Tomatoes
  • 3 - Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp - Tamarind Paste
  • 1.5 cups - Water
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • How to Make Pulipu Keerai:

    1. Pressure cook the Spinach and Tomatoes with Tamarind paste mixed in water for up to 2 whistles.
    2. Take some oil and when it's hot, add the mustard seeds. When it splutters, add the urad dal and red chillies and fry till it turns light brown.
    3. Now add the cooked items and allow it to boil in High flame for 7-10 minutes.
