Ingredients

  • 1 -small Pumpkin
  • 1/2 tbsp -chana dal
  • 1/2 tbsp- moong dal
  • 1/2 tbsp- cumin seeds(jeera)
  • 1 tbsp -mustard

How to Make Pumpkin Curry

  • Peel the pumpkin and cut into small pieces.
  • Boil the pieces for 5 min.
  • Cut the chillies into fine pieces.
  • Heat the pan and put the oil.
  • In the heated oil, put chana dal, moong dal, cumin seeds, mustard and green chillies.
  • Fry for 1 min.
  • Add curry leaves and fry for 1 min.
  • Put asafoetida powder and fry for 1 min.
  • Now add pumpkin pieces and fry for 10 min(or pieces become tender).
  • Add salt and jaggery and fry for 5 min.
  • Serve it hot with rice or roti.
