  • 12-15 purple Yam cubes
  • 1/8 tsp - black salt
  • 1/8 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • Oil - to deep fry
  • How to Make Purple Yam Chaat:

    1. Wash purple yam cubes with fresh water.
    2. Drain and pat dry them with a kitchen towel. (Thaw if frozen)
    3. Heat oil in a deep pan and carefully slide 5-6 cubes at a time.
    4. Deep fry them till they are golden brown in color and their skin has turned crispy.
    5. Place them on an absorbent paper for a while to drain excess oil.
    6. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle black salt, red chilli powder and pour the lemon juice.
    7. Toss it well and serve.
