Ingredients

  • 4 cups - Grated Pumpkin (White)
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 1.5 cups - Milk
  • 1 tbsp - Elaichi powder
  • 2 tbsps - Raisins
  • 2 tbsps - Cashews
  • 3 tbsps - Ghee
  • How to Make Pushnikai (White Pumpkin) Halwa:

    1. Grate the pumpkin and keep aside.
    2. Once the water drains out, squeeze out the rest of the water.
    3. Fry the nuts and raisins in ghee. Then add the grated pumpkin and fry a little while.
    4. Then add milk and cook till is soft and dry. Add sugar and cook until dry.
    5. Add elaichi powder and serve hot.
