Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Mixed vegetables, chopped
  • Coconut - 1, grated
  • Jeera - 3 tsp
  • Green chillies - 10
  • Curry leaves - little
  • For seasoning:
  • Coconut oil or refined oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - little
  • How to Make Quick Avial with coconut:

    1. Cook all the vegetables with 1 to 2 tbsp curds and salt to taste (2 whistles if cooker is used).
    2. Grind the ingredients.
    3. Heat oil in a deep fry pan and add seasoning items.
    4. Add boiled vegetables and ground coconut, etc.
    5. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
    6. Add curds and boil for 5 to 10 minutes in medium flame.
    7. Avial is ready to serve.
