Ingredients

  • 2 cups - vegetables (hard veggies like green plantain, Chayote Squash, Drumstick are preferred. Potato, Carrots can be used) - cut into long pieces
  • 1/2 cup - Tofu
  • 1/2 cup - yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp - Jeera
  • 1 - Green chilli
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of Turmeric
  • 2 sprigs - kari patta

How to Make Quick Avial with Tofu

  • Boil the vegetables in water with salt and turmeric.
  • Grind tofu, yogurt, green chilli and jeera and add it to the boiled vegetables. Heat it for just 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with kari patta.
