  • 4-5 - bread slices
  • 1 cup - buttermilk
  • 1 tsp - ginger-green chilli paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 - cheese cube, grated
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped
  • A few coriander leaves, chopped
  • A pinch of Cumin seeds
  • A little Butter or refined oil for frying
  • A pinch of pepper powder for garnishing
  • How to Make Quick Bread Omelette:

    1. Crumble bread slices, add buttermilk, salt and ginger-chilli paste and mix well.
    2. Add cheese and mix gently.
    3. Heat non-stick tava and add butter and cumin seeds.
    4. When cumin splutters, add onion, tomato and coriander leaves and pour bread mixture over it.
    5. Spread with hand or ladle in round shape, smear a little butter on the edge and cover.
    6. Cook till light brown and crisp, turn on other side, smear a little butter and cook till light brown and crisp.
