Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - Chickpeas powder
  • 1 - onion, medium sized
  • 4 slices - bread
  • 1 - Green chillies
  • 1 small piece - Ginger
  • 1 pinch - Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt
  • How to Make Quick Bread Pakoda:

    1. Finely chop the onion, green chilli and ginger.
    2. Now make a batter (consistency of dosa batter) with the chopped onion, green chillies, ginger, chilli powder, salt, and asafoetida powder.
    3. Slice the bread horizontally and vertically so that you get 4 square pieces out of 1 bread slice.
    4. Dip the bread piece in the batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
    5. Serve hot bread pakoda.
