  • 8 slices - bread
  • 2 - boiled Potatoes
  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • Salt (depending upon the taste)
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp - amchur
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 - chopped Green chilli
  • A pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tbsp - ketchup
  • 1 tbsp - green coriander chutney
  • Water
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • How to Make Quick Bread Pakora:

    1. Preparation for filling mixture:
    2. Boil potatoes in microwave or in pressure cooker. Mash potatoes with potato masher or shred it.
    3. Add red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, amchur powder, chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well.
    4. Take gram flour in a large bowl, add water in it (solution shouldn't be too thick). Add salt, chopped green chillies, asafoetida and red chilli powder in it.
    5. Cut the bread slices diagonally (so you have triangles).
    6. Take one triangle piece of bread and apply some ketchup on one side and put 1 tsp of potato mixture in it.
    7. Take another triangle piece of bread and apply some green chutney and put it on the potato mixture.
    8. Put this into the gram flour solution very carefully. Make sure that the triangle does not break off.
    9. Heat oil in a heavy pan and fry the triangles until it turns golden brown in colour.
    10. Serve it hot with green chutney and tea.
