Ingredients

  • 2 - capsicums, finely sliced or chopped
  • 1 - large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 - large tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp - coriander, finely chopped
  • 20 - almonds
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - ghee
  • salt to taste

How to Make Quick Capsicum Kurma

  • Soak almonds overnight, peel and grind into fine paste with little milk or water.
  • Heat oil and ghee in kadai. Add turmeric powder, onions and fry till it turns slightly brown.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, dhania, chilli powder, salt as per taste.
  • Fry for few seconds on low heat.
  • Add capsicum and fry until oil leaves side of the kadai, keep stiring (don't add water).
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook for a while.
  • Finally, add almond paste, mix well and cook for another few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander.
