Ingredients

  • 2 cups - bread crumbs
  • 5 - green chillies, cut into small pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1 - big onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • For seasoning (1/2 tsp each):
  • Mustard seeds, Chana dal, Urad Dal
  • Oil - as needed

How to Make Quick cook Bread Upma

  • Heat oil in a heavy-base pan and add the mustard seeds, channa dal and urad dal.
  • When the ingredients are slightly done, add the green chillies. When the chillies have fried, add the chopped onion and cook until slightly brown.
  • Add salt to taste and the turmeric.
  • Cook for a couple of seconds.
  • Add the bread crumbs and mix the ingredients very well.
  • Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes and serve.
