Ingredients

  • 2 cups - bread crumbs
  • 5 - green chillies, cut into small pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1 - big onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • For seasoning (1/2 tsp each):
  • Mustard seeds, Chana dal, Urad Dal
  • Oil - as needed
  • How to Make Quick cook Bread Upma:

    1. Heat oil in a heavy-base pan and add the mustard seeds, channa dal and urad dal.
    2. When the ingredients are slightly done, add the green chillies. When the chillies have fried, add the chopped onion and cook until slightly brown.
    3. Add salt to taste and the turmeric.
    4. Cook for a couple of seconds.
    5. Add the bread crumbs and mix the ingredients very well.
    6. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes and serve.
