Ingredients

  • 1 cup - sour Curd
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 pinch - pepper powder
  • 1 pinch - Amchoor powder
  • Mustard Seeds
  • For Tempering: 3 tsp - oil
  • 1 - red chilly
  • 1 pinch - Asafoetida
  • How to Make Quick curd:

    1. Heat oil in a small vessel.
    2. Add mustard, asafoetida and crushed red chilli. Remove from flame once mustard starts cracking. Cool it for 1 min.
    3. Add curd, water and all the masala powder.
    4. Mix well.
    5. The dish is ready.
    6. Can add cut pieces of cucumber for added taste if needed.
    7. Ideal with spicy chapatti, spicy hot rice or even with plain rice or bread.
