Ingredients

  • 4 - left over chapattis
  • 1 to 1.5 cup - left over yellow dal
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato puree
  • Ghee to serve
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • How to Make Quick Dal Dhokli:

    1. Cut the chapattis into small diamond shaped pieces, using a pair of scissors.
    2. Add a cup of water and tomato puree to dal.
    3. Add a little salt and heat the dal till it begins to boil.
    4. Add the chapatti pieces and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
    5. Pour into serving bowls and pour some ghee on top.
    6. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
