Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 - Mutton chops
  • 1 small cup - Thick Curd
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 2.5 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1 - Onion (sliced)
  • 2 each - bay leaf, Cinnamon (dalchini), cardamom, Cloves (garam masala contents)
  • 1 small cup - Deep fried Cashew nut paste
  • 5 tsp - Desi Ghee
  • 1/2 cup - Water
  • Salt - as per taste

How to Make

  • Heat desi ghee in a pan.
  • Add the garam masala contents.
  • When it splutters, add the sliced onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add the mutton chops and stir well.
  • In a bowl of curd, add turmeric, chilli, and coriander powder and whisk it.
  • Add this to the chops and stir for 3 mins.
  • Add the cashew paste and enough water to cover the chops.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook.
  • When it is half-cooked, stir once and add salt.
  • Serve it hot with rice.
