Ingredients

  • Frozen peas - 1 lb packet
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Grinding:
  • Big Onion - 1
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Garlic - 1 flake
  • Ginger - an inch piece
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Cashewnuts- 1 tbsp
  • How to Make Quick-n-easy Side dish:

    1. Defrost the frozen peas in a microwave.
    2. Grind all the ingredients with a little water into a smooth paste.
    3. Heat oil in a pan and add in the ground paste with salt, red chilli and coriander powder.
    4. Keep stirring and cook till the raw smell of onions goes
    5. Add the defrosted peas and bring to a boil.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
