Ingredients

  • Frozen peas - 1 lb packet
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Grinding:
  • Big Onion - 1
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Garlic - 1 flake
  • Ginger - an inch piece
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Cashewnuts- 1 tbsp

How to Make Quick-n-easy Side dish

  • Defrost the frozen peas in a microwave.
  • Grind all the ingredients with a little water into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add in the ground paste with salt, red chilli and coriander powder.
  • Keep stirring and cook till the raw smell of onions goes
  • Add the defrosted peas and bring to a boil.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
