  • 1 cup - Quinoa
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 2 cups - Milk
  • 1/4 tsp - Yellow food colour
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • A few Cashew nuts
  • A few black Raisins
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • How to Make Quinoa Kesari:

    1. Wash the quinoa. Take a vessel and add the quinoa with sugar and milk and pressure cook up to 3 whistles.
    2. Once the steam get released, take the cooked quinoa along with the food colour and cardamom powder in a pan.
    3. Cook in simmer until the mixture turns thick.
    4. Fry the cashew nuts and raisins until brown in ghee and add the fried nuts and raisins along with the ghee to the quinoa kesari..
    5. Serve warm and enjoy with a cup of coffee.
