How to Make Ragi Sweet Balls

  • Grind the sugar and cardamom seeds together into a fine powder.
  • Roast the ragi rava and almonds in a kadai until you get a nice aroma. Put off the stove and let the rava and almonds cool completely.
  • Grind this roasted ragi-rava-almonds mixture into a slightly coarse powder. Add the sugar mixture and mix well.
  • Heat the ghee and fry the broken cashews until they turn brown. Add the hot ghee and fried cashews to the ragi rava-sugar mixture. Mix everything well.
  • Add enough milk to the mixture and make small balls using this mixture. You can also use ghee while making these laddoos.
  • Store it in an air-tight box.
