Ingredients

  • Maida 1 cup
  • Ground Sugar - 1 cup
  • Thick Milk Cream - 1 cup
  • eggs - 2
  • Cocoa Powder- 1 tbsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 spoon
  • Colours (red, yellow, orange, green).

How to Make Rainbow Cake

  • Combine the maida, the baking powder and the salt and keep aside.
  • Sieve the mixture at least 4 times.
  • Now beat the cream, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, all separately, for the cream.
  • Now add the maida mix to it.
  • Divide the mixture into seven portions.
  • Add a pinch of red colour to the 1st and mix it, add a pinch of green to the 2nd and mix, add yellow colour to the 3rd, orange to the 4th, green and yellow to the 5th, add a pinch of cocoa powder to the 6th and mix.
  • The 7th should be plain.
  • Bake each portion separately in the microwave.
  • Now layer the 7 baked portions to form one cake.
  • Decorate with icing.
