Ingredients

  • Maida 1 cup
  • Ground Sugar - 1 cup
  • Thick Milk Cream - 1 cup
  • eggs - 2
  • Cocoa Powder- 1 tbsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 spoon
  • Colours (red, yellow, orange, green).
  • How to Make Rainbow Cake:

    1. Combine the maida, the baking powder and the salt and keep aside.
    2. Sieve the mixture at least 4 times.
    3. Now beat the cream, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, all separately, for the cream.
    4. Now add the maida mix to it.
    5. Divide the mixture into seven portions.
    6. Add a pinch of red colour to the 1st and mix it, add a pinch of green to the 2nd and mix, add yellow colour to the 3rd, orange to the 4th, green and yellow to the 5th, add a pinch of cocoa powder to the 6th and mix.
    7. The 7th should be plain.
    8. Bake each portion separately in the microwave.
    9. Now layer the 7 baked portions to form one cake.
    10. Decorate with icing.
