Ingredients

  • Fine Sooji - 1/2 kg
  • Sugar - 1/2 kg
  • Dry/fresh grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Cashew nut - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 1 cup (200 g)
  • Kismis - 1/2 cup
  • Elaichi powder - 1 tbsp
  • Warm Milk - 1/2 cup
  • How to Make Rava Laddoo (Sweet Sooji balls):

    1. Pour ghee in a kadai. Fry cashew and kismis till golden brown and keep aside.
    2. Fry sooji in the remaining ghee.
    3. After the sooji is fried - add the grated coconut also and fry for 2 minutes.
    4. Grind sugar and the fried cashew into a smooth powder.
    5. Mix the sooji, sugar, -cashew powder, elaichi powder, fried kismis and the warm milk.
    6. Make the mixture into balls.
