Ingredients

  • 2 cups - rava
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 4 cups - warm Milk
  • 1 cup - Ghee for sauteing the rava
  • 12 - almonds, finely sliced
  • 12 - pistachios, finely sliced
  • 12 - cashew nuts, cut into halves.

How to Make Rava Sheera

  • Lightly heat ghee in a heavy bottomed vessel. Add rava and saute on low flame till golden brown.
  • Gradually add milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Half way through, add sugar and mix.
  • When the sugar dissolves and the milk has been absorbed, keep the vessel on a pre-heated tawa on a low flame for 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Remove and garnish with dry fruits and serve hot.
