  • 3 - medium onions
  • 3 - big tomatoes
  • 4 - red chillies
  • salt

How to Make Red Hot Chutney

  • Cut onions and tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Grind onions, red chillies, tomatoes and salt - without adding water.
  • Heat a kadai and heat 2 tsps of oil, pop the mustard seeds in it.
  • Add the ground paste to it and saute for 5 min on low flame.
  • Now add a little sugar and mix well.
  • Serve this chutney with dosa, idly or rice.
